The start of the tour begins with the pick-up of passengers from their hotels from 4:00 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. and thus begins the departure from Cusco to the town of Pitumarca, the trip lasts an average of 2 hours passing through the town of Checacupe, the town is recognized for having one of the catholic chapels outstanding for its decorative beauty, Pitumarca is the place where you will have breakfast.

After breakfast we will continue the trip until the entrance of the mountain, approximately 1 hour more than car, at this point is the start of the walk to winicunca mountain, on the way you will enjoy landscapes full of flora and fauna of the Andes , you will be able to see snows like the imposing Ausangate, you will also be able to appreciate Andean camelids like alpacas and llamas, the walk is from 1.5 to 2 hours approximately, it will depend a lot on your physical state, the level of place is of 4400 msnm reaching the top 5100 meters above sea level, where you will enjoy the greatness and imposing gift of nature to man. If you have a physical one, you can visit the red valley, a beautiful place with extraordinary lands and passages.

We will have an adequate time to capture this magical place our photos, memories and enjoy a breathtaking view of the “Rainbow Mountain” and the sacred snow of the “Ausangate”
In the place there is the possibility of renting horses for their ascent.
After the visit we will return to the point of entry or start of the hike, to take our vehicle and return to Pitumarca for our respective lunch. After this pleasant lunch, we will return to the city of Cusco. The arrival time will be between 6:30 – 7:00 p.m.
